Alameda County Library – http://www.aclibrary.org/ – Yoga for Beginners offered some Saturday mornings at Castro Valley Branch and San Lorenzo Branch.
Alameda Free Library – https://alamedaca.gov/library – Libraries Outside, on-going hiking/walking program, includes talks by Rangers/Naturalists, work days and usually 2 outside events per month at differing skill levels. Program features events focusing on local areas/parks to help get participants familiar with what’s available. Library Run Club – (May-August) – run 3 miles at a conversational pace. Prepare for running 5K or just make time to run with other runners. All skill levels welcome. Ages 18+ only.
Anaheim Public Library – http://www.anaheim.net/902/Library – Zumba/Crazy Fusion at Haskett Library multiple days throughout the week.
Burbank Public Library – http://www.burbank.lib.ca.us/ – Offers 2 music programs for preschoolers and their families: a Music & Movement dance class at Central library on Saturday mornings once a month (http://burbanklibrary.com/events/music-movement-4) and a Rhythm & Reading class with dance and stories offered at the Buena Vista Branch library twice a month during the school year.
Contra Costa County Library – http://ccclib.org/ – The library is creating a permanent StoryWalk® at a Community Garden at the El Pueblo Housing Authority Center in Pittsburg, CA; Tai Chi offered weekly throughout the year at Lafayette Library and Learning Center.

Fresno County Public Library – http://www.fresnolibrary.org/ – Yoga offered Monday mornings at Betty Rodriguez; Tai Chi offered weekly at Fig Garden; Sit and Be Fit offered at Fig Garden. Library tags programs with “exercise/dance classes” in online calendar.
Huntington Beach Public Library – http://walkrunread.com/ – Annual Literacy 5K in April.
Livermore Public Library – http://www.cityoflivermore.net/citygov/lib/ – Parent and Child Yoga Time offered; Music and Movement offered; Family Bicycling Workshops held approximately once a year: A local biking group talks about bicycle safety at the library and then leads a ride through town.
Los Angeles Public Library – https://www.lapl.org/ – Fitness Fridays offered at West Valley Regional Branch with Gentle Yoga and Zumba; Zumba offered Saturday mornings and Monday nights at Mid-Valley Regional; Tai Chi offered at Central Branch and Grenada Hills Branch; Yoga offered at multiple branches on multiple days/times; Pilates offered on Fridays at Venice – Abbot Kinney Memorial Branch Library.
The Porter Ranch Branch offers free yoga classes three Saturdays a month. A chair yoga alternative is also offered. Wellness classes, meditation classes, and healthy nutrition cooking classes also offered.

Redwood City Public Library – https://www.redwoodcity.org/departments/library – 4th Monday of the month, 1pm-2pm (except August and December) Dance with Miss Leslie, Ages 3-5, Movement stories, preballet and jazz instruction, gross motor obstacle course, movement based free play; Recurring 4 Week Program – 4 consecutive Thursdays, 1:00 – 1:45pm (October, December, February, April, June) – Books and Ballet, Ages 3-5, Dance themed storytime combined with a pre ballet dance class; Most Mondays during the school year and some Mondays during summer library offers Yoga 4 Kids for ages 2-6, Yoga poses for children and their adults.

San Diego County Library – http://www.sdcl.org/ – Yoga, Zumba, Tai Chi, Hoop Fitness, Music & Movement, Exercise Dance Class and other movement-based programs held weekly on multiple days and times at multiple locations throughout library system; The local Volkssport group has developed “walk boxes” for a number of the libraries in the system: these are self-directed walks through neighborhoods with the start and end at the library.
San Diego Public Library – https://www.sandiego.gov/public-library – Yoga, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Dance, Fitness Fun, and Zumba offered at multiple branches on multiples days/times for multiple age groups.
San Jose Public Library – https://www.sjpl.org/ – Programs regularly offered include Yoga, Doga, Broga, and a Walking club.
San Francisco Public Library – https://sfpl.org/index.php – Health and wellness and programs offered at multiple branches. Yoga and programs with a “bicycle-powered blender” (Rock the Bike!) sometimes offered at multiple branches.
Santa Barbara Public Library – http://www.santabarbaraca.gov/gov/depts/lib/default.asp – Wilderness Hiking Series: monthly hiking talk with information about all things related to hiking in the area around Santa Barbara, including information about upcoming public hikes. For youth, the library offers a weekly Music and Movement Class for children ages 0-3 and their caregivers. In addition, some Summer Reading prizes are movement based, for example, kids earn a free pass to swim at a public pool, a free gymnastics class, and discounted passes to jump at a local trampoline park.

Sonoma County Library – https://sonomalibrary.org/ – Library has StoryWalk® programs; Through Healthy Living at Your Library Series (https://sonomalibrary.org/events/programs/healthy-living-at-your-library) a variety of classes are offered regularly; Library also regularly offers events for children like: Mindful Minis – yoga & mindfulness for children 6-12, Teen Yoga, Kids Zumba, Yoga Storytimes, and Bibliobop Dance Parties.

South San Francisco Public Library – http://ssf.net/521/Library – Kidz in Motion is a movement and literacy activity at the library. This helps build developing kids’ motor skills through dance, games and activities with friends and families.
Stockton-San Joaquin County Public Library – http://www.riponfriends.org/yoga_pilates.php – Beginning Yoga and Pilates offered Wednesday evenings at Ripon Memorial Library.
Sutter County Library (Yuba City) – https://www.co.sutter.ca.us/doc/government/depts/library/library – Two Music and Movement Story Times each week, year round as well as a Family Yoga class once a month during the school year.
