Whole State – Massachusetts has a collection of StoryWalk® books available statewide. Collections housed in five libraries: Cambridge Public Library, Falmouth Public Library, Haverhill Public Library, Springfield Public Library, and Norfolk Public Library. Amesbury Pubic Library – http://amesburylibrary.org/ – Library offers a Story Hike in collaboration with our local trails organization for families of all ages once a season which is a combined hike with a storytime in the middle.

Chicopee Public Library – http://www.chicopeepubliclibrary.org/ – Offers Music & Movement, singing and dancing for children ages 5 and under, Friday mornings at 10:30, every other week during the school year, every week during Summer Reading.

East Bridgewater Public Library – http://eastbridgewaterlibrary.org/ – Circulates STEM Kits for children grades 3-6 focused on East Bridgewater’s local ecosystems (swamps, bogs, etc.). These kits include books, DVDs, related objects (butterfly net, bicnoculars, etc.), suggested activities, and a logbook. For families, library circulates outdoor games, including Connect 4, Jenga, Bocce, Horseshoes, cornhole, ladder toss, croquet, and ring toss. These encourage families to get outside and play.
East Brookfield Public Library – https://eastbrookfieldlibrary.org/ – Weekly program for 18 mos. – 3 yrs. called Music, movement, parachute, story and craft; StoryTime – weekly program for 3 – 5 yrs. Music and movement, games that involve movement, story and craft; Summer Reading programs include many outdoor activities, games during the 5 week program. The library has an outdoor playground on premises and also sponsors Letterboxing programs.

All children and their grownups are welcome to this drop-in activity. Yes, even “prewalkers” are invited because they can move and groove with the assistance of their grownups.”
