Catskill Public Library –www.catskillpubliclibrary.org – The library offers a “Sweatin’ in the Stacks” program, which offers the community a chance to attend a free yoga class the last Thursday of each month. For July and August 2017, the instructor moved the free community class to the local riverside park at Dutchman’s Landing on Saturday mornings. In Fall 2017 and thereafter the program will be held on Thursdays at the library.
Cold Spring Harbor Library & Environmental Center – http://www.cshlibrary.org/ – Library regularly offers fitness classes, including Tai Chi, Pilates, Yoga, and Fitness Fusion.
Cornwall Public Library – http://www.cornwallpubliclibrary.org/ – StoryWalk® programs held seasonally at Hudson Highlands Nature Museum Wildlife Center.
Dansville Public Library – https://dansvillelibrary.org/ – Library provides gathering spaces for several healthy living initiatives in the community in cooperation with URMC (University of Rochester Medical Center)/Nicholas H. Noyes Jr. Memorial Hospital. Programs offered regularly include: A Question of Balance, Tai Chi For Seniors, and Healthy Living Choices. The library also provides space for Yoga for breast cancer survivors, hosted by Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester.
