Anderson County Library – http://www.andersonlibrary.org/events/ – Community Yoga offered Tuesday mornings at Main Library.
Berkeley County Library System – hosts the Sangaree Community Garden.
Charleston County Public Library – www.ccpl.org – Weekly storytime events available at all regionals and some large branches, including:
1) Baby Storytime – Stories, rhymes, music and bouncing games for babies 0-24 months.
2) Toddler Storytime – Stories, music and movement designed for toddlers 24-36 months.
3) Preschool Storytime – Stories, music and movement designed for preschoolers, 3-6 years.
Darlington County Library System – http://darlington-lib.org/ – Yoga offered some Saturdays in early afternoon.
Dorchester County Library in Summerville – www.dcl.lib.sc.us – offers a weekly movement based program called Music & Motion. It is advertised for ages 0-5 but all ages welcome. It is a thirty-minute program beginning with a warm up, several follow the leader songs, and a cool down.
Greenville County Library System – https://www.greenvillelibrary.org/ – Regular offerings include: Laughter yoga classes; Introductory dance classes (Variety of dances offered: contra, swing, international folk dances, etc.); Introductory Tai Chi classes; Bouncing Babies (Stories, rhymes, music and bouncing games for babies 1 month-18months.); Musical Jamboree (Explore children’s literature through music, songs, creative movement and instrument play.); Toddler Tales (Stories, music and movement designed for toddlers 19+ months).
Lexington County Public Library – http://www.lex.lib.sc.us/ – Yoga and Zumba offered once a month at Cayce-West Columbia Branch Library; Music and Movement programs for preschoolers and children. In addition, the Lexington Main Library offers a Babywearing Dance Party once a month: “Let’s dance! Bring your sling (or other comfy carrier!) and baby-wear your little one as we get moving to the beat! Wear comfy clothes and tennies, bring a water bottle, and learn some steps to dance with your baby or toddler.”
