Whole State – http://www.basinsradio.com/2018/01/09/library-system-partnering-with-wyoming-state-parks-historic-sites-and-trails/ – Public Libraries partner with the Wyoming State Parks Department to circulate backpacks containing items that encourage exploring the outdoors. The backpacks include park passes
Laramie County Library – http://lclsonline.org/ – Nerf Wars held at the library periodically; the library also has events like Zumba Kids, where kids learn how to dance with a Zumba instructor, and programs like Baby Music and Kindermusik, which encourages dancing and movement from little ones.
Natrona County Library – www.natronacountylibrary.org/ – Library partners with the Wyoming State Parks Department to circulate backpacks containing items that encourage exploring the outdoors. The backpacks include park passes. Library also circulates the Search for Jack kits from Wyoming Quality Counts that encourage patrons to get out and explore Wyoming.
Regular programs include incorporating dance and wiggle time into children’s story times, offering life-size board games for tweens, and activities such as obstacle courses, and outdoor games during summer reading and other special events. The library also participates in and promotes the local Art Walk.
