Homer Public Library – www.cityofhomer-ak.gov/library – Library includes movement in every storytime (dance, yoga, etc.); summer program (Summer@HPL) includes some sort of movement-based programs, but the actual event itself may be different from year to year. Examples include: Summer@HPL community pool party at the high school pool, Yoga for kids summer series, Digital badge for participation in the local running club’s Dog Jog, Nature walk with local environmental educators at a local lake, Pokemon Go Safari (families participate in a historical walk around Homer playing the Pokemon Go game; StoryWalk- families enjoy a book while they walk a trail on library property; Digital badge scavenger hunt at local parks.
Ketchikan Public Library – http://ketchikanpubliclibrary.org/events/month/ – Mindfulness Yoga offered Monday nights; A variety of movement-based programs offered during summer programming.
Sutton Public Library – https://www.matsugov.us/msln/sutton – On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, at 9 a.m. the library has the Strong People Exercise Group for adults: This is a low impact exercise program for men and women.
Tuzzy Consortium Library – http://www.tuzzy.org/ – Lagoon Walks held in summer months, parachute play offered, the library has totes of material for check out.
Wasilla Public Library – http://cityofwasilla.com/departments-divisions/library – The library has an annual 5K fundraiser for library technology
