Hall Memorial Library (Ellington) – http://library.ellington-ct.gov/ – Library offers passes to Roaring Brook Nature Center, Lutz Children’s Museum, Mystic Seaport, and Old Sturbridge Village, as well as discount coupons to CT Science Museum when available. The Ellington Parks and Rec Department uses library space for Music and Movement for Toddlers program on a regular basis. Other movement-based programs offered as part of summer reading: Summer 2017 programs include a Picnic and Giant Games Event geared towards families Thursdays in July and August at 12:00 pm and 5:30 pm.

Plainville Public Library – https://www.plainvillect.com/library – Offers a Let’s Move music & movement class for children ages 2-5 throughout the summer and at selected times during the year. Summer 2017 the library is introducing a Yoga Storytime and Yoga for Kids class on Monday mornings in July and August. During the school year this class may move to a monthly offering. The library also signs children and their families up to be garden helpers, helping to take care of the flowers, vegetables, and herbs that children plant at the beginning of the summer.
