Addison Public Library – http://addisonlibrary.libcal.com/calendar/events – Yoga and Zumba offered Tuesdays nights. Zumba at 6 p.m. and Yoga at 7 p.m.
Allerton Public Library District (Monticello) – http://www.monticellolibrary.org/calendar.html – The second half of both lap time and story time offered at the library is “play” based with large climbing blocks, balls, hula-hoops and rhythm shakers.
Alpha Park Public Library (Bartonville) – http://www.alphapark.org/ – Every year library has a “Biggest Loser” program that includes exercise classes; library also has regular walking programs. Library also has a garden.
Carol Stream Public Library – http://www.cslibrary.org/ – The library offers a different active program for adults each month. Classes include Yoga, pilates, Tai Chi, line dancing, walking meditation, Zumba, hula dancing, and chair yoga.
Centralia Regional Library District – http://www.centralialibrary.org/ – The Irvington branch has fishing poles provided by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources available for loan. The main branch also has IDNR backpacks and nature kits available.
Champaign Public Library – https://champaign.org/ – has an 8-week summer 2017 program, Fit and Fabulous, that focuses on health, nutrition, and gentle exercise. The series is targeted toward adults 50+, but all are welcome. The programs take place weekly on Tuesdays at 10 AM during Summer 2017. (There is no program on Tuesday, July 4.) Library also sporadically presents health and movement-themed programs for children, teens, and adults.

Lansing Public Library – http://www.lansingpl.org/ – Half Walk, Half Talk Book Club: Walking book club meets every Wednesday, starting July 12, 2017, at Erfert Park at 8:30 am. During the first 30 minutes participants enjoy a brisk walk along the path. Then, during the cool down, participants engage in a discussion on a specific section of the book. Each book broken into four sections and discussed each week.
