Chickasha Public Library – http://chickashapl.okpls.org/ – Tai Chi will be offered beginning in Fall 2017 on an ongoing basis.
Eastern Oklahoma District Library System – http://www.eodls.lib.ok.us/ – Tai Chi offered Tuesday mornings at Eufaula Memorial Library; Q.B. Boydstun Public Library in Fort Gibson has an exercise program on MWF at 10:00 during the school year. The program is called Sarah’s Seniorcises. It is focused on balance, flexibility and strength. During June and July, the group meets at the library on Monday mornings.
Enid Public Library – http://enid.okpls.org/gallery-calendar/ – Movers & Shakers offered for all ages Mondays at 10 a.m.; Tai Chi for Balance offered Wednesday afternoons at 4:30.
Guthrie Public Library http://guthrie.okpls.org/ – offers a Healthy Literacy Program encouraging Logan County Residents to walk. Library also has had in the past a Exercise for Fines program in which patrons could exercise free of charge at local fitness establishments: Each 15 minutes of exercise reduced library fines by $1.
Oklahoma City Metropolitan Library System- http://www.metrolibrary.org/ – Yoga at Choctaw and Midwest City Branches; Tai Chi at Edmond, Southern Oaks, Northwest, and Choctaw Branches; Steppin’ Into Shape offered at Ralph Ellison Branch; Parachute Play offered at multiple branches.
Pioneer Library System – http://pioneer.libnet.info/events – Yoga, Tai Chi, Zumba, and Pilates offered at multiple branches on multiple days/times.
Pryor Public Library – http://www.pryor.okpls.org/ – Weekly story time with toddlers that includes movement activities; yearly summer reading program with movement activities.
Southern Prairie Library System (Jackson and Harmon Counties) – www.spls.lib.ok.us – Tai Chi classes offered on a regular basis at the Altus Public Library and periodically in Hollis. The Health Literacy Initiative encourages participants to eat better, move more, walk often and exercise the mind daily.
Stillwater Public Library – http://library.stillwater.org/simple_steps_to_better_health.php – Simple Steps to Better Health program series includes Tai Chi classes.
Tulsa City-County Library – http://www.tulsalibrary.org/ – Tai Chi offered at South Broken Arrow Library; Eat Better, Move More offered at Owasso Library.
