Brownsville Public Library – http://brownsville.plinkit.org/ – Weekly Story Times: Parents and Pals Tuesdays at 10:15 am followed by a free playgroup in the Park; Story Time with Craft on Fridays from 11 – Noon.
Crook County Library – http://www.crooklib.org/ – Library installed StoryWalk® in local park.
Deschutes Public Library – http://www.deschuteslibrary.org – Music, Movement and Stories offered monthly at various branches for ages 3+.
Estacada Public Library – http://www.cityofestacada.org/library/ – Library checks out is volleyballs and horseshoes for use at the park next door.
Jackson County Library Services – http://jcls.org/home – Simplified Tai Chi offered Tuesday mornings at Medford; Toddlerobics: Movement, Music, and Me! offered at Ashland, Medford, and Central Point weekly.
Klamath County Library – http://klamathlibrary.org/calendar – Music & Movement offered Tuesday mornings at Main Library.
Newberg Public Library – http://www.newbergoregon.gov/library – Library offers a variety of active, after-hours programs for middle and high school youth about 6-10 times a year. These include Humans vs Zombies, Hunger Games, Maze Runner, Divergent, Harry Potter, Artemis Fowl etc., as well as Capture the Flag and other run-around-with-the-lights-out games.
Salem Public Library – http://www.cityofsalem.net/library – Library offers special movement-based programs, including Field Day activities, an Amazing Race, and other active programs.
Springfield Public Library – http://wheremindsgrow.org/ – Library offers Little Family Yoga, a monthly program designed to introduce children and families to yoga; StoryWalks once a month from March – October, visit a different local park each time, walk and tell stories, and play movement games; Library also hires guests to come in and do ballet classes, etc. from time to time, though this isn’t a regular program.
Stayton Public Library – http://www.staytonoregon.gov/page/library_home – Motion Mondays and Thumpin’ Thursdays offered weekly in the mornings.
Tigard Public Library – http://www.tigard-or.gov/library.php – Programs include “Walk N Words Story Time,” Saturdays, July 22 through August 12, 2017, 10:30-11:15 a.m: Walk, run and jump on the nature path, weather permitting; and Imagination Yoga, Saturdays, July 22 and August 19, 2017, 1:30-2:15 p.m. and 2:30-3:15 p.m.
Wilsonville Public Library – http://www.wilsonville.lib.or.us/ – As part of special programs, library offers for teenagers Nerf and tag/capture the flag style games and water fights, and for children music and movement during storytimes.
